This book. This BOOK! God I loved this book. Everything about it was perfection to me. Ms. Haimowitz's characterization of the two mc's is incredible. I felt everything they felt, saw everything they saw, and smiled at every moment of sensuality and romance between the two. Poor Freyrik Farr and Ayden Vaska. The two lovers were stuck between a rock and a hard place the entire duology. I'm so happy at how the ending happened, it finished several things and gave the sense of life continuing even after the events for the two. I think I have a new favorite book and a new favorite author.
